Beyond Mountains

Beyond Mountains is a ministry that is still very much in the developmental stages.  Our passion, which we can humbly say has been placed on our hearts by God, is to work in a remote community in the Opalaca Mountain Range of Honduras.  We began pursuing the vision to advance medical care and education to the region in 2016.  Since then we have been able to make yearly visits and build on a few key relationship connections that have given us a better understanding of the needs of the area.

Education is still a direction we are prayerfully considering. We are hoping that our path will become clearer as we build on this vision of access to health education and partnerships. 
We are also hoping that as we make more connections in the medical field that we will find more teammates to come on board in Honduras and in the States. 

Our team at this time consists of 4 members, all of whose lives are in great transition.  We have 2 doctors in training (1 of which is engaged), a newlywed, and a Mom of 2 babies!  We’re excited about all that is happening in our personal lives and yet God continues to keep this ministry alive in our hearts.

Travel back to Honduras is up in the air at this time due to COVID 19.  The hope is that team members would return in the Spring of 2021, God willing!
